ooooohhhhh look what I got - Fussy & Fancy Challenge + Sketch Saturday

Good morning all...well look what I got, the fabulous Mabelle of Whimsy & Stars Studio asked me to join her Guest Designer team for a 3 month period and as I love these gorgeous images of course I said yes...so I'm now the proud bearer of my Guest DT badge...right everyone lets hear it for the sisters, you all agreed with me yesterday that I should have a sarnie when I feel like it, so that's what went in my trolley yesterday, plus the fixings for a chicken caesar salad and garlic potatoes for last night dinner...yummy...well I'm having a full blogging day today to catch up, as my lovely Phil is off to a meeting of his Motorbike club as its coming to the road racing time of year and hes a road marshal...whenever I say that I have a vision of him in his white coat and a stetson wearing a six shooter lol...right my card for today

which of course is using a Whimsy and Stars Studio image, isn't she just beautiful shes called Blessed Expectancy and I love that sweet face, I coloured her with Distress inks and paper pieced her dress in this fabulously gorgeous punched and embossed paper this and the black and white one is from a paper pack and I haven't a clue what its called but will try and find the front of it to let you know, I have a feeling they are Memory Keepers...I wanted a contrast to the beautiful papers and decided on corrugated card but all the ones I have are coloured or kraft so I wracked my brain because I was sure I had seen some somewhere then I realised where...the inside of a packet of cheese crackers, hows that for a bit of recycling...I finished with a saddle stitched white ribbon and a huge white satin bow, the sentiment is from a bargain sheet of scrap booking quotes I bought in a sale about a year ago, the sketch is from Sketch Saturday which I tilted and Im also entering this in the Fussy & Fancy Embossing and/or Paper piecing challenge too...right now I'm off to make coffee and get blogging so I can catch up with all your fantastic work I have missed...have a wonderful Sunday everyone

My card for today is for our challenge over at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stAnglar challenge which this week is a sketch by me, I hope this one is a bit more successful than the last...I would cross my fingers but I cant paint with them like that, I did discover when I was demoing in the Kings Hall in Belfast that I can colour upside down though, are you impressed...I was lol...back to my card this week I decided to use this sweet hAnglar image isn't she gorgeous and the amazing papers are from Graphic45 Once upon a Springtime collection, the flowered is called Primrose cottage and the striped is Once upon a Springtime, I cut some of the flowers from the paper for the corner and added a mix of ribbons and a sentiment cut from ribbon to finish...when you have time pop on over to Just Magnolia and have a look at the amazing DT's work...wow...Im entering this for the Creative Inspirations stripes challenge...I'm trying to get up the momentum to tidy my craftroom today but have a feeling I wont as I usually find something to play with instead...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

nothing says I love you than a bunny hug - hopefully Papertake weekly challenge sketch

Good morning everyone, thank you all so much for your well wishes for my Dad yesterday that is so kind of you and I'm so happy to report that my wonderful Dad got a clean bill of health, well as clean a bill of health a COPD sufferer can get, the illness he has been having is apparently a virus going around and the Doc says there's no point treating him now as hes over the worst and on the mend, phew I am so so relieved...my soup went down a treat yesterday, my Daughter and her other half came for dinner and leftovers taken home with them so they must have liked it...now before I tell you about my card for today own up...who's got it????? I have lost a stamp and isn't it always the case its the one I want to use, I have hunted and searched all my stamp boxes but its nowhere to be seen...Its the Magnolia bunny suit stamp...come on which one of you is it, of course it could be that my craftroom is so untidy its needs a good tidy and then I will find it...my card for today is for the Papertake weekly challenge, I say hopefully because the sketch is honestly underneath my circular image because I printed this stunning Easter Bunny (straight haired) image from Mo's Digital Pencil in a circle but when I went to put it together realised it was supposed to be a square oops...the amazingly gorgeous papers are of course K&Co they are from the 6x6 Isabella paper pad...I finished with cream satin ribbon and a bow and added a ceramic sentiment...I'm off to have another hunt for my stamp or hunt down the person that has it lol...have a wonderful day everyone

Good morning everyone I hope your all fit and well, I managed to prise my Dads cold fingers from the door frame and we went for coffee, had a little read of the newspapers and put the world to rights and all before 3pm...amazing what coffee can do for you isnt it...I love those afternoons chatting with my Dad, hes 78 and still sharp as a tack with a great sense of humour...love him to bits...right now onto my card for today which is using the beautiful Kansas from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love this sweet image with her little toto in her basket, I can still remember watching the Wizard of Oz for the first time and falling in love with this fantastic tale of fairyland places and people...of course I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with this amazing double sided My Minds Eye Pink large Polka dot from the Lush range...

I finished the card with some beautiful soft satin ribbon and a couple of pins threaded with beads...the fabulous sketch is from Create4fun challenge and Im also entering it for the Pear Tree Designs challenge too...I hope you have a fantastic day everyone and remember even if you cant put the world to rights, enjoy your coffee

I have to get a pink chandelier now-Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge+Stamp Something+Stamp with Fun+Simon says Stamp challenge

Good morning everyone, bbbbbbbrrrrrrrr its cold here and we had hailstones yesterday so my Dad hibernated and didn't want to venture outdoors although I cant say I blame him, I will have to prise his cold fingers from the door frame tomorrow though as I don't like him to stay in for more than a day I don't think its good for him, will this weather ever stop I ask myself... well I was looking for some Websters pages papers in a pile of papers when I come across this amazing paper I bought when I was at the NEC, how shocking that I forgot I had it, the photo doesn't do it justice as its gold pearlised paper with pink pearlised chandeliers, how lush is that, its from Hambly Screenprints and is called Mini Chandeliers...I decided I would use this fabulous image Bodacious Bev image from Kenny K as I haven't coloured one up for ages, I coloured her with Distress inks and I used a fab two tone ribbon for the loops under the heart and across the card, the gold heart is my bargain of last week, I got them on a sheet of 8 different gold hearts for £1, oooohhhhh I do love a bargain don't you...now the sketch is a weird story as I love it and thought oh I must use that Stamp with Fun challenge sketch, then when I clicked on their challenge site I had missed the deadline but their next challenge is Love so it fit anyway...freaky lol...I'm also entering this for the the Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge, Stamp Something Digi Day Challenge and Simon says Stamp Love is in the Air challenge too...I'm off to get my Dad to put his thermals on so he will come out to play...have a brilliant day everyone
