how many is too many...

Good morning everyone, ok now whats up with the weather, seriously would it really destroy the great scheme if we were to have just a little bit of sun...when I met my Dad yesterday every single time we went to get out the car it tiddled Dad reckoned it was just waiting for us lol...well his colour choice of ipod is out of stock but will be back in within five days and hes busy sorting out all his cd's for loading, I have a feeling I'm going to be busy card for today is for our new challenge over at Just Magnolia & hAnglar and sTanglar challenge which this week is the fab Pop's choice and she chose the perfect challenge, Butterflies,,,now for those of you who don't know I love using butterflies, but just how many is too many I ask myself?...the gorgeous Tilda is from the Butterfly dreams collection and called Beautiful Tilda isn't she so pretty, I love that little ruffled skirt and her gorgeous wings...I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with these lush papers from the BoBunny 6x6 Gabrielle paper pad, perfect for this challenge and I love the colours in this pad, the Tilda and pad are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I finished my card with these gorgeously glitzy butterflies from Anita's...the lush sketch is from the Stamp with Fun challenge...I wrapped myself up in my fluffy dressing gown with a hot water bottle last night and did loads of blog hopping and even managed to leave some comments and catch up with some challenge commenting too, aren't I a good girl lol...I'm hopefully going to do loads more today too so will catch up with everyone else today too, thank you all so much for the wonderful comments you left about the house photos, I'm so pleased you saw the potential that we did...I hope you all have a fabulous Friday whatever your up and if you have time don't forget to pop on over to Just Magnolia to see what the rest of our amazing DT came up with

the best laid plans....

Good morning everyone I'm home at last, how are you all, well and happy I hope...I had planned to get the early coach even though it meant changing midway but the coach was late leaving and I missed my connection and had to wait over 2 hours for another would you believe, so I didn't get a card made for today so I'm showing you some of the piccys I took of the house...well what do you think? really is a typical Irish farmhouse isn't it and much much bigger than I remembered this is the side view...the car doesn't come with it, that's ours
this is the side and my gorgeous Phil taking away some mouldy carpet from the door as it was making me queasy, bless you see what I mean about the 'garden', it can hardly be described as that can it lol...the side bit and the front porch are extensions as the original farmhouse would have been two up two down I think...the house has a really wonderful warm feel to it
this is one of the 'roads' leading to the house, the hedges are full of honeysuckle, holly, wild roses and brambles, so loads of blackberries come Autumn...there's a couple of outbuilding which we had a little mooch in and found a tin full off old bills and letters from 1978, some beautiful coloured crockery and a really retro old kitchen dresser which I think is in desperate need of a makeover
this is the view from the main bedroom and all the 'girls' coming to have a look at the daft English folk mad enough to take this on
I picked this photo as it not only shows the rank wallpaper that has to be striped off asap but the depth of the windows and walls, I dont think it will be hard to keep warm with walls this thick do you...Phil went to work and left me measuring windows and floors, do you ever get the feeling your not alone?...I looked up and the farmer who owns the cattle and his son were standing at the gate watching me and grinning, I nearly jumped out of my skin...he waved at me and I just waved and shouted hi...I will keep the rest of the photos and post them when we do the house, that way we can do a before and after reveal...oooohhhhh Im getting all changing room arent I...thank you all so much for your wonderful comments while I was away, I promise I will catch up with you all soon...well Im off out with my Dad today to pick up his ipod (he decided on Blue and thinks the lime green one I have is sickly...what a cheek)...whatever your up to have a fab day everyone and I would love to know what you think of the house cause we love it to bits

Good morning everyone...did you all hear the screaming from wherever you are lol, is anyone else having problems with their internet...first it was dodgy on Wednesday then it went off for two hours during the day and three hours last night and when it is on it is taking ages and ages to load even the simplest site...I haven't a hope in hell of commenting and even to have a look its taking ages, every site I seem to go has a glich on it, I even went onto the Docrafts forum to see if anyone there was having problems and their site was down thousands of apologies, I'm not ignoring all you lovely commenter's, just struggling to comment at all and it is driving me mad...cover your ears...aaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh...right that's my rant over, well for today anyway Dads stomach upset isn't clearing up and I'm worried he might get dehydrated so I think a visit to the Docs is needed, although dragging him there might be a know the way people say about us women gossiping, well every time I turned around at the supermarket yesterday my Dad was away chatting to someone or other, the staff (they all know us and talk away to him), his Brother and sister in law were there so they had a good gossip too, I have threatened to get a leash for him cause he keeps wandering off, for a elderly disabled fella he can disappear from my side pretty quick, I quite often find myself talking to myself, I even started talking to a stranger about what cheese he wanted yesterday thinking it was him and he was standing laughing his head off around the corner lol...ok onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stanglar challenge which this week is a gorgeous sketch by the wonderful Jacque...I chose this wonderful Lying Tilda from the new Sweet Rainbow collection, isn't she gorgeous, I coloured with distress inks and teamed her up with more of these lush papers from the K & Co Julianne 6x6 paper pad...I bought these both from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I cute some of those lush flowers from the same paper for decoration and punched out a couple of Martha Stewart butterflies to finish...I cant get enough of this K & Co paper pad...right I'm off to ring BT and shout as someone just for them to tell me its not a problem with my internet, if you hear a crash its my laptop going through my front window...have a wonderful day everyone
