how many is too many?...

God morning everyone, well Phil has Hypertension, his blood pressure went so high yesterday that the doctor gave him medication to bring it straight down with a crash...apparently he has primary hypertension which means there is no medical cause like kidneys, liver, heart disease etc which is a relief but I hate Phil being not well I'm so not used to it and would rather be ill a dozen times myself than see him ill once...the Doctor said that the medication he has put him on for everyday along with the advice and info he gave us should bring it under control pretty fast, phew...of course Phil is insisting he go back to work on Monday and although I don't want him to the doc says if his blood pressure is stable it may be a good idea to get back into his routine asap, anyone of you who has any experience of this your advice would be greatly appreciated...he seems relaxed enough though I watched him like a hawk yesterday, I haven't a clue what I expected to happen but I think I could have done with one of his tablets by the time he went to bed lol...sorry I haven't been commenting as much as usual I am trying but am finding it hard to concentrate atm, but I will catch up with you all I promise...right now onto my card for today, about time I hear you cry I used this stunning new Steampunk House digi from Crafts and Me, I love this house so used it by itself and tried something new too I did a cloudy sky, I used distress inks and did it freehand, I think it worked ok don't you?...the amazing paper is a sheet I found a few days back I have had it for ages and its by G.C.D Studios and is from their Ava Collection called Bloom, I added some ribbon and a stamped sentiment, the lush flower embellishments I cut from the paper, I love cutting out and find it so relaxing, just how many flowers is too many do you think?...the fab sketch is from The Sweet Stop challenge, I promise the sketch is there lol...I'm also entering this for the Lollipop Crafts anything Goes challenge and the Fussy and Fancy Try a new Technique (the sky) challenge too...I'm off to the supermarket with my Dad today who bless him is worried about Phil too so I will have to get him some reassurance coffee I think...whatever your up to today have a wonderful one

Ive been steampunked...

Good morning everyone, I have been on hot bricks to show you these amazing new digi stamps aren't they fantastic, when Gayle (yes these are by Gayle of Teddybo fame) asked me would I like to have play with them it took me two nano seconds to snatch them off her lol...for ages I have wanted to have a go at steampunk but hadn't seen any images or stamps that cried colour me until I saw these...Gayle has started a new shop for these called Wonderland Stamps and even the shop front matches these beauties and yes I'm in the gallery, how chuffed am I

as soon as I printed these I thought oh no I don't have any steampunk papers but rummaging through my papers I was amazed at how many they would go with, I matched them up with this kraft card and My Minds Eye Life stories collection paper, this one is called Green Damask...I used my usual distress inks for colouring...the box I bought ages ago and it has been sitting on a shelf looking at me and every time I went to use it I put it back because I was keeping for 'something special', I used one of Wonderlands frames for the front, cut it out to make a surround for a Edgar Allan Poe quote, I used a teeny key on top of it too and finished with a bow...I decided to make a kinda poem book to go with the box

this was really easy to make its just attached together with the same ribbon I used for the box bow...the poem is The Raven by Poe and even the insects on the middle pages are digis from Wonderland, that's one of the reasons I love digis because you can resize them and of course they are instant shopping too which counts for a lot lol...well what do you think? do you like them? I'm bursting to know...right I will leave you in peace now as this is quite a long post, I haven't a clue what I'm doing today as Phil is away at the motorbikes marshaling, say aaaawwwww then lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic day everyone and have a look at Wonderland Stamps and let me and Gayle know your thoughts please

a faerie good hug...

Good morning everyone, I bet you groaned at the title...sorry I couldn't resist lol...I had to show you this amazingly gorgeous digi from The Emerald Faerie Garden...this is Kenz and cute are they, of course I didn't just buy one though...oh no thats against the crafters code isn't it...I coloured these sweeties with distress inks and used this lush Basic Grey Marjolaine Eclair paper, I love that soft blue with the green don't you...I used some white satin trimmed organza and a lush Audrey Rose white Prima flower and finished with a few pale blue gems...I like the look of this card, the colours really work together don't you think?...I'm sure I will have another of these to show you before long as I wont be able to resist colouring them, have you noticed I havent entered any challenges this week (I know shock horror), I got mixed up will all the sketches and challenges so didnt bother as it made my head hurt lol...right that's me for today so whatever your up to have a brilliant Saturday everyone
